Jeunes Talents 2017 – Big Data

Les 8, 9 et 10 novembre 2017, le Réseau Franco-Néerlandais (RFN) et le bureau d’internationalisation de l’enseignement des Pays-Bas (Nuffic) organiseront la 8e édition de la rencontre Jeunes Talents à Amsterdam et à Leiden. Big Data is the central topic of the 8th Young Talent Meeting organized by the Dutch-French Network for higher education and research (RFN) and the institution for internationalization of the Dutch higher education (Nuffic) on November 8, 9 and 10 in Amsterdam and Leiden. Young Talent is a multi-angle case study in which ambitious young MA/Ph.D. students and young professionals from France and the Netherlands tackle different challenges related to Big Data. Applicants from all domains of study are welcome and encouraged.

After an excursion at the Amsterdam Science Park on Wednesday, the participants work in teams to devise strategies for the development of their respective fields of expertise at the Leiden Centre of Data Science on Thursday. They will present their ideas and reflections in front of senior experts during the Erasmus-Descartes Conference on Friday (programme), which is organized by the French embassy in the Netherlands and the Dutch embassy in France.

This event offers ample networking opportunities, students and young professionals between 18 and 30 years old can apply for this event which will be held in English.
