YOUNG EUROPEANS 2023 – call for applications and for participation

CONTEXTE

Since 2017, the Franco-Dutch Network (RFN) and the European Metropolis of Lille have been co-organising a Franco-Belgian-Dutch Creathon to strengthen the links between Lille, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Since 2022, this Franco-Dutch Créathon has been composed of two parts:

  • an “Entrepreneurship” section allowing 30 young Belgians, French and Dutch to develop a professional project by becoming an entrepreneur on a given theme (sustainable food in 2023); click here for more information.
  • a “Dialogue between young Europeans” section allowing young people from Lille Metropolis, Belgium and the Netherlands to exchange views and solutions on European issues.

« DIALOGUE BETWEEN YOUNG EUROPEANS » SECTION

The “Dialogue between young Europeans” section is organised in partnership with the association Les Jeunes Européens – Lille métropole (Young Europeans from Lille) and the Universities of Lille and The Hague. The exchanges will be organised this year around two themes:

  • Theme 1 (only in Lille): “Electric vehicles: sustainable development, economic, environmental and societal issues”;
  • Theme 2: “The values of membership in the European Union”, based on the example of the countries in the accession phase and the differences between member countries.
